Fire Safety Tips
In Case of Fire
Dial 911
Do you have an escape plan?
Do you have two ways out of you home?
Do you practice your escape plan by holding fire drills in your home?
Once you’re out safely, stay out until help arrives.
Smoke Detectors
Do you have a smoke detector installed on every level of your home?
Do you check your detector to insure that it is in proper working order?
Change your batteries at least twice yearly (spring & fall when you change your clocks).
Candle Safety
Place candles in a proper container, open, in an uncluttered area, and with nothing above the flame.
Never leave a child unattended in a room with burning candles, or accessible matches and lighters.
Never leave the house or go to sleep with candles lit. |
