The Economic Development Commission works to support and promote existing businesses and to market and promote the town for the purpose of attracting new businesses. The Commission works with town officials, town committees/commissions, and other agencies within the town by engaging in activities to enhance the image of the town as a place to live, work, and conduct business. |

Planning and Zoning Commission

The Planning and Zoning Commission has authority under State Law, and Town Charter to adopt regulations governing the use, bulk, and density of land, subdivision of property, and the protection of property from flood damage. |

Windham Historic District Commission

The Commission reviews each proposal for constructing, demolishing or altering exterior architectural features of buildings, structures, and signs in the Historic District and, after a public hearing, it determines whether to grant a Certificate of Appropriateness.
